Los Monteros is a range of wines with great personality that comes from old vineyards in South East Spain. The vines produce only small quantities of grapes but of great quality and concentration. The singular look of this exclusive bottle anticipate what to expect when Los Monteros is uncorked; a fully bodied wine, with body and soul.
40% Tempranillo, 40% Monastrell, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
|How it's made||
The grapes of each variety are carefully selected, destemmed and gently pressed. Vinified separately in stainless steel tanks with a prolonged maceration on the skins, using selected yeasts. Fermentation is at 77ºF. Malolactic fermentation follows. Then the wines are blended together. Agenda for a minimum of 12 months in new American oak barrels.
This Reserva has a nice ruby red color with earthy tones. Mature and smooth, with elegant aromas of fruit compote, vanilla, tobacco and chocolate. The taste of this wine is full, smooth and long lasting with great structure that will develop further in the bottle.
A prestigious wine ideal to accompany a variety of gourmet dishes, meats, roasts and cured cheeses. Best to open this bottle 30 minutes before serving.
