This deeply colored, elegant red from the Toro region is traditionally associated with bull-fighting, bull running and for it's gusty robust reds.
100% Tita de Toro
|How it's made||
30% of the wine is made traditionally undergoing controlled fermentation at 81 degrees F for 15 days. 70% undergoes delestage for five days. The grapes are picked from bush wines with no irrigation. Delastage and micro-oxygenation to extract color and aroma while toning down the tannins. The juice is spent in French oak barrels for two months.
This wine has a dark ruby color with violet hints at the rim, clean and bright. It is deep and intense with ripe fruit and toasted aromas. Rich, red fruit with well integrated oak on the palate, with a smooth and long finish.
This wine pairs well with South American cuisine, savory dishes and nice hearty soups and stews.
