Arc du Rhône Côtes du Rhône Villages, 2016
To make this classic southern Rhône red we've selected fruit from plots in the best villages in the Côtes du Rhône.
75% Grenache Noir | 25% Syrah
|How it's made||
Vineyards are mostly chalky-clay soil with a heavy overlay of rounded limestone pebbles (galets roulés). Following a fifteen day cuvaison, with délestage to gently extract color and flavor, Grenache Noir is blended with Syrah and enriching Carignan Noir and matured without oak.
This Côtes du Rhône Villages is typically full-flavored with brambly fruits from the Grenache Noir and a savory spice on the finish.
Serve with a host of dishes ranging from traditional meats to rocket salad with duck and of course, quality French cheeses.
